Snowbird T-Shirt Design
A rather fun part of my time at UWEC Housing was designing T-shirts for students, staff, and alumni. Every summer UWEC offers housing for "snowbirds" or retired people who stay in a warmer climate for the winter and return to Wisconsin for the summer. I was in charge of creating T-shirts to help promote this program. The follow the theme of travel I decided to create a design based off of a Wisconsin license plate with the words "SNOWBIRD" as the license plate number. I stuck with a more minimalistic rendition of the license plate and only utilized one color in order to preserve costs. Under "SNOWBIRD" I incorporated "UW Eau Claire" as the tagline. The overall result is a cute T-shirt with a minimalistic yet understandable design.
